In Catan: Cities & Knights, you engage in the defense of Catan and compete to build the three great metropolises of Catan. If unsuccessful, the player with fewest knights is affected. When the Barbarians attack, if the island is successfully defended the the player with the most knights is rewarded. Players can place knights along their network of roads to claim certain intersections and also defend the island from the barbarians.Players have the chance to draw these cards on their turn by building city improvements Development cards are replaced by three different decks, each corresponding to one of the commodities.These allow players to build city improvements that result in various advantages.
